Peter Pond author interviews

Greetings:

I convey to you today two interesting media presentations on PP, one audio and another video.

The audio concerns a 37-minute podcast discussion with PPSer Bill Buxton on his book “Harold Innis on Peter Pond: Biography, Cultural Memory and the Continental Fur Trade” presented by The Champlain Society. The book was originally discussed here in PPS 53 March 2020.

The video was recorded on youtube in 2016 at a Wilderness Canoe Symposium in Toronto. PPSer Dave Chapin discusses his book with video help, “Freshwater Passages: The Trade and Travels of Peter Pond” published in 2014.

Both are quite entertaining, so I commend you to them. Enjoy.
